Tassie’s Top Tourism Town will be named in Devonport on Wednesday.
The awards ceremony will be a key component of the annual West by North West Tourism’s regional tourism industry forum and networking event at the Paranaple Convention Centre, with the winners to be announced at a cocktail party at Spreyton Cider Co.
Three North-West and West Coast centres are among the finalists in each of the three categories.
Devonport won last year’s award for centres with a population over 5000 and is a finalist again this year.
Stanley is a finalist in the tiny town section for populations of less than 1500, while Queenstown is in the running for the small town award for populations between 1500 and 5000 people.
