Two charged over Sheffield Air BnB burglaries

Two people have been charged in relation to a spate of burglaries from Air B and B properties in the Sheffield area, which allegedly netted good worth more than $100,000.

Tasmania police say the two people, a man and woman both in their 30s, allegedly stole two motorcycles, power tools, electrical items including washing machines and dryers, furniture and other household items.

The pair have been charged with two counts of aggravated burglary, two counts of burglary, four counts of stealing, and drugs charges.

Police say a search of a Devonport premises led to the recovery of the allegedly stolen property.
