Another greyhound trainer’s animal welfare standards are being questioned.
This time it’s at an Ulverstone property as a result of the release of new drone footage released by Animal Liberation Tasmania.
The vision shows the living conditions for greyhounds at Gary and Robyn Johnson’s property at Batten Park near Ulverstone.
The Johnsons are stalwarts of greyhound racing on the North-West Coast, with Robyn Johnson a former chair of the North-West Greyhound Racing Club.
Their greyhound facility is next door to Ulverstone Pet Food Works, also operated by the Johnsons, which includes an abattoir.
Fran Chambers, co-ordinator of Let The Greyhounds Run Free says the latest footage is disturbing.
The footage has been posted on the Animal Liberation Tasmania Facebook page.
Gary Johnson denies any animal cruelty and says his dogs are well looked after.
