Police investigations are continuing into incident on Thursday morning where a number of Devonport CBD businesses were significantly damaged by what appears to be deliberate flooding.
Passers by alerted police to the flooding of several levels of a commercial building at the corner of Best and Rooke streets opposite the Northern end of the Rooke Mall around 5am on Thursday morning.
Detectives believe a person has entered the building and caused the damage.
Several businesses on the ground floor were impacted, and TasWater was called to assist.
