Youths charged over carjacking

Police have charged four youths over an attempted carjacking in Hobart in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

All aged between 14 and 15, the youths allegedly threatened the victim with a knife and attempted to steal his car. He received minor injuries.

Police say the youths fled the scene on foot and stole a backpack.

They will appear in the Youth Justice Court.
