Police are continuing appeals for anyone who has information on the murder of a young Gagebrook father to come forward, despite a major development in the case.

A 30-year-old Gagebrook man arrested at Fingal on Friday night will face Hobart Magistrates Court on Monday, after detectives charged him with murdering Jarrod Turner on Sunday night.

The 22-year-old's body was found with gunshot wounds by the side of Colebrook Road last Sunday.

The alleged killer and two females aged 22 and 14 are now in custody in connection with the case.

The teenager appeared in the children's court last week on an accessory charge, while the older woman has been charged with failing to report a killling and being an accessory.

Detective Inspector Doug Rossiter is still calling for assistance.

"We are confident that there are other people that haven't yet come forward, and there are people that still have information," he said.

"I'd just encourage anyone that still knows anything about this, no matter how small, we'd still like to hear from you."
