Another search and rescue operation is underway in Tasmanian bushland.
Four bushwalkers called for help late on Sunday afternoon after becoming disoriented on the top of Tarn Shelf at Mt Field National Park.
The rescue helicopter had a possible sighting but conditions and terrain prevented any further help at that time.
A ground search and rescue team has also been sent in.
Five people have been rescued from the Cradle Mountain area in recent days.
A bushwalkers weather alert is out for snow down to 700 metres in the West and Central Highlands for Tuesday.
