Tasmania's unemployment rate's improved again.
In new ABS data, the trend jobless figure has dipped to 5.8% for December.
Importantly, over the year Tasmania's employment growth rate of 2.9% was the equal second highest in the nation, beaten only by the ACT.
Also indicating improved confidence of the state's job seekers, the trend participation rate, has risen.
Meantime, the Prime Minister Scott Morrison is celebrating the national result.
"Over 1.5 million jobs have been created over the course of the last six years since we first came to office."
