Year 11 and 12 students on the North-West Coast will start receiving their COVID-19 Pfizer vaccinations from today.
The Tasmanian Department of Health says students at Don College in Devonport and Hellyer College in Burnie will get their jabs this week, while vaccinations at community clinics will also become available for 12-15 year-olds from today as well.
The Department says more than 1400 vaccinations were delivered at the Burnie Super Clinic over the weekend at the Burnie Arts and Function Centre, with several hundred appointments also available for the next super clinic on September 21 and 22.
The Burnie Super Clinics are not restricted to Burnie residents and open to any North-West Coaster.
The Department says more bookings for next month will open soon for community clinics currently operating in Devonport and Ulverstone.
