Work is continuing on sections of the Bass Highway between Ulverstone and Deloraine repairing numerous potholes and raised bumpy sections caused by heavy rain in recent months.
The Department of State Growth says the work is a mix of temporary and long term repairs.
Long term repairs between Latrobe and the Port Sorell off-ramp have started, with long term repairs between Paramatta Creek and Deloraine scheduled to start later this month and continue through to next month, depending on weather.
The Department says long term repairs have already been completed at Sassafras, Latrobe and Gannon's Hill.
A combination of pothole repairs and longer term repairs have also been undertaken on sections of the Ridgley Highway and Murchinson Highway this week.
