The Royal Tour of Tasmania by The Queen in 1954 will be remembered at a special exhibition at Penguin next month.
The exhibition is being co-ordinated by the Penguin Royal Event committee.
The Queen and Duke of Edinburgh toured Tasmania in February 1954, flying into Wynyard and then visiting Burnie, Penguin, Ulverstone, Devonport, Latrobe, with thousands of North-West Coasters coming out to greet the Royal Couple.
The Penguin group is keen to hear from anyone who lined the road for the tour, to interview for their memories, or who has memorabilia they might like to share.
The exhibition will be on show at the old Penguin Railway Station from October 30 to November 14.
