Housing Choices Tasmania has lodged a development application with the Central Coast Council for a $13.7 million affordable housing project at West Ulverstone.
The application says 48 new homes will be built on publicly-owned land at Breheny Place.
While there's no completion date, construction is expected to start in June.
The application shows four different designs of two and three-bedroom homes for the project.
Details are on the Central Coast Council's website and is open for public comment and feedback until next Wednesday, with the council to consider the application at this month's council meeting on January 24
