Murder in the old folks home!
Netflix’s next TV series comes from the mind of bestselling author and beloved English comedian Richard Osman. Osman wrote The Thursday Murder Club, a novel published back in September of 2020 about a ragtag team of four retirees whom all live together at a retirement village and spend their Thursday nights trying to solve murders. It grew to be a popular mega-hit and has already spawned off multiple sequels in the series. Netflix quickly bought the rights to make a series based on the books and good news, the series is closer than you think. You can check out the trailer below!
The Thursday Murder Club has an absolutely stacked lead cast with some of the most well-regarded English talent on screen as it stars Helen Mirren, Pierce Brosnan, Ben Kingsley, and Celia Imrie in our leading roles. The behind the scenes talent is also one to look forward to, as Chris Colombus has been set to direct the series. Chris Colombus as you may know him has created such incredible gems like Home Alone, Mrs Doubtfire, Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.
