Just when you thought it would be safe to go into the water, look out, it’s where drivers of the near future could be as Elon Musk makes a bold claim about the upcoming Cybertruck that could be likened to something out of a James Bond movie.
Taking to his Twitter account, which he still owns, the account, not Twitter itself, that deal fell over, we think, the whole thing got very confusing and messy, much like this message.
Taking to Twitter, Elon Musk made the bold statement that “Cybertruck will be waterproof enough to serve briefly as a boat, so it can cross rivers, lake & even seas that aren’t too choppy”.

This probably serves as a good moment to take a pause mention as we head into some national wet weather conditions, if it’s flooded, forget it. Even in a Cybertruck.
Everyone remembers that classic scene from “The Spy Who Loved Me” when James Bond turned his Lotus Esprit into a submarine to escape the bad guys, only to capture some fish along the way right?
The Cybertruck is still only available for preorder and apparently, production on the vehicles is set to start in mid-2023, so maybe put a hold on that new car, new tinny combo you were thinking of for weekends until we can see if this thing actually floats.
