Which new iPhone should I buy?

Kia Ora.

Apple announced the next generation iPhone this morning at the Apple Special Event from the new Steve Jobs Theatre, Apple Park, Cupertino. Three models were revealed, the iPhone 8/8 Plus and the iPhone's 10th Anniversay, iPhone X. Most of us will be wondering which model to buy. Here's a quick list of compared features to help you decide between the iPhone 8 Plus and the iPhone X.

Screen Size: iPhone 8 Plus - 5.5" screen V iPhone X - 5.8" (edge to edge display therefore smaller than the 8 Plus)

Camera: iPhone 8 Plus - 12 megapixel V iPhone X - 12 megapixel (Dual optical image stabilization)

Front Camera: iPhone 8 Plus - 7 megapixel V iPhone X 7 megapixel (TrueDepth, Portriat mode/lighting & Animoji)

Display: iPhone 8 Plus - Retina HD V iPhone X - Super Retina HD

Frame: iPhone 8 Plus - Aluminium V iPhone X - Steel

Security: iPhone 8 Plus - Fingerprint ID V iPhone X - Facial ID

Battery Life: iPhone 8 Plus - 2 hours longer than iPhone 7 V iPhone X - Same as iPhone 7 Plus

Same features: A11 processor, wireless charging, 1080P HD video recording, toughened/fingerprint resistent glass front/back, splash/dust resistance and all the other standard iPhone bells and whistles.

So if the iPhone X has the features that benefit you and how you use your phone, it's worth the extra dollars.
