The Coastal town of Penguin is turning 150 nest year and locals are planning to celebrate in style.
The sesqui-centenary will also mark the 50th birthday of the iconic big penguin on the town’s foreshore.
School students from the Central Coast area will be invited to enter the Penguins in Penguin Creative Art Competition, with cash prizes, as well as a competition to design a logo for the town’s 150th anniversary.
