Red Cross Lifeblood is calling on Tasmanians to give back this Easter and donate blood.
Around 300 additional donors are needed statewide statewide between now and Easter Monday.
It’s estimated blood products will be needed every 18 seconds this Easter Long Weekend, with demand up 3% on last year.

Lifeblood’s Devonport and Burnie Donor Centres are open on Wednesday and Thursday before Easter, with the Devonport centre also opening for donations on Easter Monday from 7.30 am to 2.30 pm.
