Council offices in Burnie and Devonport will be lit up in PURPLE in coming days and weeks in a bid to increase awareness around Epilepsy.
The Burnie City Council Chambers in Wilson Street will be lit up from Friday until the end of the month, with the Paranaple Centre in Devonport, also exhibiting purple hues from Friday through until March 29th.
The Two Coastal sites are among seven around Tasmania shining a light on epilepsy, and more than 130 nationwide, including Rod Laver Arena and Federation Square in Melbourne – all in support of the 250,000 Australians living with the condition.
