Devonport’s much-awaited $3 million foreshore sound and light show is expected to be switched on by the end of June.
Work is progressing on installation of lights, light pillars, screens and speakers with renowned light show company Mandylights working with local and Tasmanian contractors to bring the project to life.
The sound and light show is the final piece in the puzzle for stage two of the Living City Project.

It’s hoped the show will become an attraction to keep more visitors in Devonport overnight.
Devonport Mayor Alison Jarman says plans are underway for a major winter festival to launch the show.
