Three years since the official cancellation of the iconic Falls Festival Tasmania, which for 17 years was a rite of passage for young Tasmanians to welcome in the New Year, the Marion Bay Falls Festival site is now for sale.
Hosting international acts including Halsey, Childish Gambino, and Kings of Leon, as well as local bands such as Luca Brasi, the event will be remembered for providing a tourism boost for the state and countless memories.
Managing Director of Harcourts Signature Mark Berry said the land is being sold under Expressions of Interest and will appeal to an array of potential buyers ranging from those seeking a tree change, entrepreneurs, viticulturists, and farmers with Bream Creek being a popular farming locality.
“While the 273-hectare property includes some beautiful, protected bushland, there are approximately 183 hectares of useable farmland with a character homestead,” Mr Berry said.
“The site also is still host to existing infrastructure from the Falls Festival including a full-sized stage, sheds, and shelters offering endless potential and possibilities for a touring or event management company to bring new life into this iconic venue.

In 2021, the company behind the three-day event and current landowner, Secret Sounds, announced the cancellation of the Marion Bay event. The site is now for sale through Harcourts Signature in conjunction with Nutrien Harcourts.
