More retail spaces, but a smaller carpark – that’s what you’ll find in the planning documents for the latest stage of the 4 million dollar Kmart Plaza renovations.
The proposal lodged with the City of Launceston shows plans to further extend the centre into the south western carpark next to Coles.
It would also expand to the front, with further space for specialty retailers.

A further 57 carparking spaces would be removed with the extension, however an additional 4 disabled spaces would be allocated.
