It’s the first major commercial building for the area since the former Vodafone call centre became part of a Catholic school.

Development Director Jennifer Cooper says the fast-growing Kingborough area is ripe with potential.

“As one of Tasmania’s fastest growing areas, Kingborough is quickly developing a reputation for having all it needs to be self-sufficient for those that live here. The Kingston Park commercial development will give the area another feather in its cap when it comes to employment accessibility,” Ms Cooper said.

“By providing people and businesses more choice when it comes to working in Kingston, this development will make it possible for more residents to complete a day’s work without the frustration of being caught up in traffic on the Southern Outlet or crossing Hobart’s CBD.”

All going to plan, construction will commence some time next year.
