The Central Coast Council’s plans to sell six parcels of land it considers surplus to requirements are not a done deal.
One of the parcels of land is a greenspace and park at Ashwater Crescent in Penguin, which is popular with locals in the Mission Hill area, who are concerned about any possible sale and have organised a public meeting on Sunday to discuss the proposal.
The meeting will be held at the Penguin Surf Club at 1 pm.

However, Central Coast Mayor Cheryl Fuller says the council hasn’t made a decision on the sale of any of the six parcels of land.
