Queenstown woman accused of driving at 4 times the legal limit

Police are reminding motorists of the dangers of drink driving, after a traffic stop on the West Coast.

Yesterday, patrols pulled over a 35-year-old in Queenstown after spotting her driving erratically.

The woman took a breath analysis at the Queenstown Police Station, returning a reading of .202%.

She has been charged with exceeding the prescribed alcohol limit and driving under the influence.

The Queenstown local has lost her license for 12 months and will face court at a later date.

Officers are asking any witnesses or anyone with dash cam footage of a grey LDV utility driving in Queenstown between 1 and 1:30pm on Friday 5 August 2022 to contact Queenstown Police on 6495 1600.
