Sorell death probe

tasPolice are investigating the death of a woman at Sorell.

Detectives haven’t ruled out suspicious circumstances after a woman’s body was discovered at a home on Walker Street on Wednesday afternoon. 

Officers attended the property after a member of the public called for a welfare check.

Forensic examiners remained at the scene well into the evening and an investigation continues.

Detectives were expected to release more details on Friday.
