A new study by Suburbtrends has revealed the hardest suburbs for renters with pets to secure a rental property in Australia.
Based on the percentage of rental listings advertising as “no-pets allowed,” the study ranked the toughest suburbs for renters with pets.
The study highlighted Tasmania as one of the highest no pets allowed state’s in Australia.
Wynyard on the North-West Coast was shown to be the hardest place in Tasmania to find a rental which allows pets, followed by Devonport and Sorell in the South of the state.
West Moonah, Mount Stuart, Sandy Bay, and Claremont are also in the top 10, along with Battery Point, West Hobart and Hobart.
Launceston and the North of the state could have the most lenient landlords in the state on pets, with no postcodes from the region featuring in the top 10.
