Vehicle stolen in Trevallyn car jacking

Investigations continue into a car jacking in the state’s north.

At around 1.30pm on Saturday, 20 August 2022, a Summerhill man was sitting in his 2002 Nissan Patrol in the Freeland’s Reserve in Trevallyn.

A vehicle approached off of Bald Hill Road and blocked the 27-year-old in.

Two armed men from that vehicle approached and struck the driver, demanding he get out of the car.

The victim was then further assaulted by the two armed men, one of them driving off in the Nissan vehicle, followed by the vehicle the men had arrived in.

The first offender is described as being in his late 20’s, 178 cm tall, medium build and wearing dark track pants, a beanie and sunglasses.

Facial tattoos were visible above the sunglasses.

The second is described as in his later 20’s, similar height to the first but with a slightly smaller build.

The two men arrived in a green Mitsubishi Magna sedan, registration unknown.
